Who we are:

We are the Professional Fire Fighters of Ogden Local 552. Our main goal is to provide safety in the work place by working closely with the Fire Department Administration, and through the Interest Based Problem Solving process.

Your Union representatives work with the city to provide a fair and decent wage for our members so that they may enjoy many of the benefits that others have throughout the intermountain region.

The local also works to make sure our members are treated fairly in the work place, whether through promotional opportunities, or other policies in the City and Fire Department.

Local 552 is an affiliate of the International Association of Firefighters which is an affiliate of the AFL-CIO. Our local is also an affiliate of the Professional Firefighters of Utah.

Some of the many programs sponsored by the IAFF and the PFFU are supported by our Local, including MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association), and the Intermountain Burn Camp and Burn River Trips.

Our local represents approximately 85 Active and Retired Members.
